  • Some comments (oddly enough):
Fritz the Cat was a Ralph Bakshi cartoon.

The cartoon theme song cover CD you guys talked about was "Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits". EXCELLENT CD!

The cover of Gigantor on that CD was by Helmet.

There was ALSO a TV special for that CD when it first came out that had music videos by those artists for the cover songs... hosted by Drew Barrymore and friends. Drew in PJs eating cereal. Could be worse. I still have that on VHS somewhere.

Um... HOW could you not play GI Joe?

  • Didn't they START the show with the
    GI Joe theme?

  • Yeah, I was thinking that I heard the Joe theme early in the show as well... Now that you mention it, I think it was the beginning!

  • That's correct guys. We substituted our CGS theme song for the GIJoe theme song (yo Joe!). We did the same thing for Ep. #15 where we played the Star Wars music for the intro to the episode where we interview Shane Felux, director of the Fan Film Revelations.

We're glad you enjoyed this episode. Believe me we were having a great time in the "studio" as well.

  • It sounded like you guys were having fun, but I'm gonna bust on you one more time. Somebody has got to monitor the audio levels. There were lots of times that music was playing and you guys were talking and we couldn't hear what you were saying.
Now you KNOW that we all hang on your every word and we don't want to miss one syllable. :)

But honestly, I've listened to many of the other comic related podcasts out there and your show is by far the best. If you'd just takes a little more effort with the audio quality, it would be fantastic.

Do you guys listen to the shows after you do them? I'd bet it sounds way different then what you imagine it sounds like.

Just trying to do my part to help out.

  • I take blame for the audio levels on that one. I man the mixing board, but I had to lend my good noise cancelling headphones to Kevin, and I got stuck with crappy ones. So I couldn't hear the mix properly. All I could hear was everybody talking in the room. Next time, nobody, and I mean nobody, gets my headphones.
