Was Tasha playing the part of the invisible girl? We hardly heard from her. Just kiddin'. Great, great show.

This movie was awful! I saw Batman Begins and Fantastic Four back to back yesterday and Batman was clearly in a league of its own. FF was so campy and had very little character development. Yeah, the graphics were cool and the stunts were good, but the plot was as transparent as the invisible girl. I would rank this movie below All of the Spidermans, X-Mans, Blades, and even the Punnisher. The only movies worse than FF were HULK and Catwoman!
Just my opinion

It wasn't that bad.In the grand scheme of things more people liked it than hated it. You have to remember that you can never, ever get a literal translation of a comic to a movie. The mediums are just too different. You can come close though (Spider-man).The person that can figure out a way to take 40 years of history, thousands of stories, the work of dozens of writers and artists and turn it all into something that is not crap is a genius. I can tear apart every single comic movie ever made including Superman for having weaknesses but in the end it doesn't matter. They are just movies. A way for me to kill two hours. If I want literal translation, I'll watch the old marvel cartoon from the sixties.

Amen brother. The bottom line is I was entertained. I saw some cool Fantastic Four stuff. When the sequel comes out I'm sure we'll see an even better movie. If you want to talk about camp and cheese and see-through plots read any golden age or half of the silver age comics. Read FF #1 and see if you ever eat cheese again.

I'm so sick of Jessica Alba,
first of all, i *hate* it when some actor/actress plays more than one comic character. sin city and ff? come on!
"but she's so hawt" says all the horny comic boys, well, get her a modeling contract, she'll still get $, you'll still see her, but then she'll get out of my movies.
grrr.

i just want to comment on the michael clark duncan being kingpin in daredevil. I think that he fit the part PERFECT. I know that he's suppose to be white because of the comic books but come on Michael Clark Duncan had the attitude the size the look and the talent to be Kingpin. I cant think of one white actor who could of done half as good as Michael Clark Duncan

Or even better, Erland van Lidth. He played Grossberger in Stir Crazy, the Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder flick from 1980

I love your guys podcast. I listening to it right now.
Second hand smoke bad? Yes, but I'm sure manufacturing polution and car exhaust are worse for us.
I used to not think that way, but I think the non-smoking people have other agendas. How much money does Nicorette make you think? I know for dieting, Slim Fast makes billions and hardly ever works for anyone. Dieting has even been proved to make people eat more!
I bet the same for non-smoking.
I like the review too. I want to go see the movie now after a review by real comic fans. As for the thing about switching characters to black. It makes us happy. The Matrix is one of my favorite movies largely because I feel included in the sci-fi world.
Peace.
