  • I LOVED IT! It was genius. I LOVED hearing from this guy, because I am a REAL fan of his BATMAN stuff. I'v been listening to your podcast for only a short while now (since August 14) but already it's become my favorite. I NEVER update my iPod without adding the newest issue from you guys. ONE compliant though: On your interviews, it's just so hard to hear the person you're interviewing. What's up with that?

  • Good show guys, I'm glad I subscibed. I think that Doug was a little spacey but hey who that reads comics isn't? I'm 17 and stoked on comics so this was a good learing experience for me. As much as i do know it was happy to learn more about moon knight and origins of jason todd. I'm really happy with what bendis is doing with Ultimate moon knight though. but I do think that you're righ that Johns would be a great writer for the series. The whole Knightfall origin was pretty cool too. When you guys brought up the fact that they didn't aks doug weither he wanted to write the new Moon Knight, i think that its because guys from his era don't translate into the modern comics as well. I mean if you stuck Stan lee on a modern comicl as great as he is, it just wouldn't pan out. The timespan and styles have shifted to a point where comics these days are taken really seriously wheras back in teh day it was where these guys got their living and hte more they coudl do the better, so they weren't focusing as much on what was going on so much as that it was happening. I mean look at us and the information that we retain as opposed to what some of the creators from the past retain. Frank millar is a writer that has managed to evolve with the comic (that and he was ahead of his time) , and in this way he remains relevant. anyway great show I'll hear you guys again next week. I'd like to hear what you think of the new ghost rider.
