  • ***Spolier Alert!***

If you have yet to listen to part b of episode 50, come back to this after you've listened...

So you have a 62 year old woman that has regressed in age and has the chance to live life over again. At the same time, she finds that she has a great power. It would be trite for her to say, "I owe it to mankind to use my powers for good!" Rather, she should be put in situations that more or less force her to use those powers, and then slowly realizes that she is a superhero.

And how about this as an "angst" twist: Somewhere along the line, probably after really using her power a lot, she realizes that using her power speeds up her aging. Now she has to decide, should I make a difference, or should I be selfish and live my life again, the right way... (Is it being selfish for her to feel this way?)

Speaking as someone who is quickly approaching 50, and having a bit of a hard time coming to terms with "getting old" (why it seems like just yesterday...) the whole concept has a lot of appeal for me.

  • I believe the admired female voice was Victoria Jackson from Saturday Night Live.

  • Can you guys fix the Sound Quality? Its horrible. I hear podcasts where people are going over the net using Skype and it sounds better then your podcast. 4 People in the same room doing a recoding should have perfect recording levels. If you guys laugh or speak loudly my speakers blow out becuase I have to have my volume up to max just to hear your normal speaking.

That being said. I think the show rocks!!

  • In regards to sound quality:

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and quite frankly I think our sound quality is very good, if a bit quiet. That being said we are in the process of aquiring the funds we need to purchase some new equipment in an attempt to improve the quality.

When you have five or more people in a room, and they all need microphones and headsets, it's not quite as simple as having one guy with a USB mic/headset combo that they picked up at Best Buy for $30. We have so have mixers, and splitters and cords everywhere. And since I'm not an audio engineer, I'm flying by the seat of my pants.

Please bear with us as we works towards improving the show. We truely want it to be the best podcast out there.
