Sheesh... I wasn't aware that the show that I've been listening to since early March, was supposed to be a Marvel love fest. Because apparently you've never learned the most universal truth that I know of I'll explain it here: Opinions are like Belly Buttons, everyone has one. And while I(and you apparently) may not agree with what Jamie thinks about the book, his opinions are just that, opinions. Also I direct you to listen to these shows from the beginning, where you'll see that Jamie is more interested in good stories, rather than pathetic company loyalty. Regardless of what this Marvel fanboy says, I think it was a well done episode, and I'm glad you had an opposing viewpoint in there. It made me temporarily take myself away from my own opinions and see annothers point of view, and I like that you didn't just choose a book that everyone had read 5 times already. Keep up the good work and Jamie, ignore asses like boss hogg here.

  • Hey you cant please everyone all the time and just for the record I am not the DC fanboy of the group that would be Peter or Shane if you had to sling a sterotype...I prefer opinions are like assholes...everyone has one and they usually stink...so I thank you for listening and hope you enjoy what you hear everyone else say and when I speak you can just zone out and wake up when the rest talk...as they say as long as they spell my name right there is no bad press...

    Jamie

you know sometimes hostility like this masks a deep desire to be like me so I guess I should feel flattered

  • Jamie,
As the old Latin saying goes, "Don't let the bastards get you down!" Or, as I prefer it, the Artie Lange saying, "WAAAAA, I can't stand Jamie and his opinions, not to mention I'm the only person to hate Crisis on Infinite Earths, WAAAA!" This joker(boss hogg) probably thought the original FF movie (the one not legally released) is the best comic-book movie ever!
Regardless, I've got your back bro,

  • I enjoy a different opinion but a personal attack is something we dont do here...you can get that on other boards...I for one accept your apology and lets move on...If you disagree with me fine by me...thats why there are hundreds of comics printed each month because not everyone agrees...so I call off the jihad on Boss Hogg and look forward to his next post...you can tell Rios to shut up if you want....bwahahahahaha

  • Unfortunately, life's been too hectic for me to take the time to dig through the, way too many, comic boxes in the basement, so I never did get to reread this Daredevil story. But I do recall that at the time I thought, "jesus Kevin, take a freakin breath!" It took forever to read those issues.

Bearing in mind that I'm a big fan of Mr. Smith's work this is a hard thing for me to admit. I can say that I loved his story arc involving the return of the Green Arrow and am the proud owner of a signed hardcover of that, which my son bought for me at Kevin's comic book store in Red Bank.

Didn't Kevin even poke fun at himself for being so wordy, in one of the movies?

Jamie, you're still the shiz nit pimp in my book!

  • But Peter...you think your nickname of "Twinkle-toes" is a complement!
